Dr Nicky Shaw PhD, BSc (Hons), ADipCBM, CAB, ABTC-CAB

Hi, I’m Dr Nicky Shaw, a Clinical Animal Behaviourist, dog trainer, puppy school teacher and proud Full Member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC).

I am now also a Clinical Animal Behaviourist with the RSPCA.

I have been in practice for 10 years, with a first-class honours degree in Applied Animal Behaviour from the University of Portsmouth and a PhD in dog & puppy cognitive enrichment, behaviour, and welfare from the University of Winchester.

I am passionate about promoting effective communication, cooperation, and enjoyable partnerships between dogs, puppies, and their owners. Since 2016, I have trained thousands of puppies and dogs, running classes and providing private training and consultations in the Chelsea, Kensington and surrounding areas. I am a 100% force-free, rewards- and evidence-based trainer.

For behaviour consultations I work on referral from multiple practices - any vet can refer to me.
